Before the NL/AL West 12-pack
Not to boast, but we really said it would be like this or close to it ;). The Dodgers went 6-7 against the NL East foursome and it's safe to say that they are starting to even out on the season.
Now the Dodgers will play 12 games (nine of them on the road) against the NL/AL West teams. Here is their current record:
Colorado 29-30
San Diego 31-29
Oakland 29-31
Seattle 28-34
The first three only hover around .500 at home, while Seattle is plain bad away from Safeco Field (9-17).
To me the 12-game stand might be one of the defining moments of the season. If we want to really make an impression of going to win the NL West, we should win at least seven if not eight of twelve. Especially our high-maintenance starters Tomko and Perez should get at least 2 wins between them to right the ship.
