Thin at pinch hitting, are we not?
Below you will find the list of non-regulars from the *current* roster (no Ledee):
Alomar, Martinez, Robles, Saenz, Cruz, Ethier.
Now, factor the following info: Alomar's great .BA stat is probably inflated as he's playing every five or so games. Martinez and Robles don't seem to be able to hit a ball off the tee ;), Saenz is considered by some to be a brand name for a strike-out machine. Cruz is in a very prolonged slump and Ethier is still fighting the butterflies in his stomach.
Given all the above, I'd go with the following order: Alomar, Ethier, Saenz, Martinez, Cruz, Robles. If Ledee was available, he'd probably be my top2 - and he hasn't been exactly a prototypical hitter. Hmmm, what do you think?
My point is: the Dodgers are currently very thin regarding power/contact off the bench, I'm sorry to say. Not too many guys you can reliably count on to pinch hit for a pitcher/injured player.
