How about Joe Mays?
One pitcher that gets a bit overlooked this spring in the starters-relievers dilemma is former Twin starter RHP Joe Mays. He's 32 yo now and has been quite dependable this spring.
In fact, he's just gone 3 IP of one-hit no-run ball in the game against the Orioles that the Dodgers won 4-2. He got seven ground out and struck out the other two batters. He's pre-season ERA is 2.57 as of today.
How do you think the pitching situation will play out for him? Can he make the opening day roster?

Joe was a heck of a pitcher before his surgery. I think with the Right team he could be a 15 game winner.
He will make a team, but not at this time with the dodgers. A come back year is in the cards for joey but that team has to see him through the rough times still aheah.
This is going to be joey's year. When he gets his arm back and not worried about his elbow, he will get a new form and hopefully a new pitch. Where is his curve ball he used to have so much confidence in, and what happen to his speed? He used to be able to hit 94-95 mph before the surgery. I still think there is another 17 game winning season in this kid and possible more.
It's getting down to stay or go time for Joe. I betting he is going for a trade to a team who is weak on starters in their line up. Greddy Litte is almost too greety wanting to many pitchers is his lineup. we'll see. Does he stay or does he go? It's up to you Joe
MAYBE HE DIDN'T SEPARARTE HIMSELF FROM THE PACK AGAINST THE O'S BUT HIS ERA IS AS GOOD AS THE REST.
